One Vanderbilt to 73-piętrowy drapacz chmur na rogu 42nd Steet i Vanderbilt Avenue w środkowej części Manhattanu. Podświetlony zostanie dzisiaj, 12 listopada.

Joining the list of New York City landmarks celebrating Poland’s Independence Day, One Vanderbilt will be illuminated in white and red on Tuesday, November 12 — Radio RAMPA has received official confirmation of this via email.
One Vanderbilt is a 73-story skyscraper located at the corner of 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The building will shine tonight in Poland’s national colors to honor the occasion.
According to another source, the decision to light One Vanderbilt came following a Radio RAMPA article reporting that the Empire State Building had declined to be illuminated in white and red for Poland’s Independence Day. Read more about that story here:

Z okazji święta Niepodległości Polski, kilka symbolicznych nowojorskich obiektów, będzie podświetlonych na biało-czerwono właśnie 12 listopada, kiedy w Ratuszu Miasta Nowy Jork odbędzie się Polish Independence Night. Do budynków tych należą: New York City Hall, One World Trade Center, The Kosciuszko Bridge, Penn Station’s East End Gateway i Penn Station’s Moynihan Train Hall. Podświetlenie tych obiektów to zasługa biura radnego Roberta Holdena i Konsulatu Generalnego RP w NYC.
Polish Independence Day w ratuszu miasta Nowy Jork odbywa się z inicjatywy radnego Roberta Holdena. Zapraszają na niego również przewodnicząca Rady Miasta Nowy Jork Adrienne E. Adams oraz członkowie rady miasta Joann Ariola, Lincoln Restler i Carlina Rivera.

In celebration of Poland’s Independence Day, several iconic New York City landmarks will be illuminated in white and red on November 12, the evening when Polish Independence Night will take place at New York City Hall.
The buildings joining the tribute include: New York City Hall, One World Trade Center, the Kosciuszko Bridge, Penn Station’s East End Gateway, and Penn Station’s Moynihan Train Hall. The lighting of these landmarks was made possible thanks to the efforts of Council Member Robert Holden’s office and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York City.
The Polish Independence Day celebration at City Hall is held at the initiative of Council Member Robert Holden. The event is co-hosted by New York City Council Speaker Adrienne E. Adams and Council Members Joann Ariola, Lincoln Restler, and Carlina Rivera.
