Z okazji Polish Heritage Month gościem specjalnym BEYOND Polish American Women’s Club będzie prof. Krzysztof Szczerski, Ambasador – Stały Przedstawiciel Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej przy Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych w Nowym Jorku. Dyplomata, politolog i profesor nauk społecznych, wcześniej m.in. Szef Gabinetu i główny doradca ds. zagranicznych Prezydenta RP, od 2021 roku reprezentuje Polskę przy ONZ.
Tematem przewodnim spotkania będzie „POLAND AS A BRAND” – rozmowa o tym, jak Polska jest dziś postrzegana na arenie międzynarodowej, co buduje jej markę i reputację oraz jaką rolę w jej promocji odgrywają dyplomacja, kultura, gospodarka, historia i Polonia.
Ambasador Szczerski opowie również o kulisach pracy przy Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych – miejscu, w którym każdego dnia spotykają się interesy, perspektywy i dyplomacja niemal całego świata.
Porozmawiamy także o tym, jak my – Polacy mieszkający za granicą – możemy świadomie współtworzyć nowoczesny wizerunek Polski i wzmacniać jej markę na świecie.

In celebration of Polish Heritage Month, BEYOND Polish American Women’s Club will welcome Prof. Krzysztof Szczerski, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations in New York, as our Special Guest. A diplomat, political scientist, and Professor of Social Sciences, Ambassador Szczerski previously served as Chief of Cabinet and Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Poland. Since 2021, he has represented Poland at the United Nations.
The theme of the evening will be “POLAND AS A BRAND” – a conversation about how Poland is perceived on the international stage, what shapes its reputation and global identity, and the role that diplomacy, culture, business, history, and the Polish diaspora play in building Poland’s brand. Ambassador Szczerski will also take us behind the scenes of his work at the United Nations – a place where global interests, perspectives, and diplomacy converge every day.We will also explore how we, as Poles living abroad, can actively contribute to Poland’s modern image and strengthen its presence and reputation around the world.
